Femme Beetlejcuice costume done!

So, I finally finished my Femme Beetlejuice costume. About time!

I've posted some pics in my gallery.

As you'll note, I'm not wearing the hat.
This has a very simple reason: It shrank during washing. All that work down the drain ):
As for the tie, I let go of that idea because it would stick out from underneath the jacket, which would just look awkward.
Careful viewers might also notice that the panties I'm wearing are not the same as the one I posted a picure of. I chose for a thicker legging mainly because it's getting colder outside, and if I want to walk around during the Halloween Fright Nights in this costume, I need to dress as warm as possible. :P

I didn't give the skirt stripes because the fabric didn't lend itself for the paint, but also because it would met up the stripe scheme with the legging. I just didn't think horizontal en vertical stripes would mix very well beside eachother. Instead I made the skirt look torn and damaged because I just felt it would fit with the whole undead thing.

As for next year's Halloween, I intend getting a longer jacket (like one of those sleeveless things OpalLynn has for her Joker outfit) under which I can wear a white shirt, just like BJ, and with which I can wear the tie. I'll need to think of something for the striped sleeves though.
We'll see. I'm not getting started on that before next year. :P

So, that's it. Please question and comment.

As for now, it's showtime!
I'll make sure to get a pic of me and BJ at the Fright Nights and post it here. ;)

So, got to tell about myself. Um, where to start?

I'm goth, and try my hand at drawing now and then. I'm not very good, although everyone else keeps telling me that I am. I just can't draw exactly what I have in mind, which I find very frustrating. However, I'm always trying to improve my skill.

I love everything that has to do with Beetlejuice, I like to look what other people make of him. I'm very into fantasy art, and really gothic paintings. I really like Victoria Frances' art. I also love to draw dragons, they're so mysterious.
One of my other hobbies is to go to Fantasyfairs, which I do regularly. I love the way fantasy comes to life in places like that.

I'm just here to enjoy other people's art and talk about ideas and such.

There not many deviations yet, since I'm very careful about what I post on the internet. I've got more artwork on more private places such as Myspace and Hyves.
